Raise Your Price Without Losing Clients

Follow on Instagram

Shruti Maheshwari came to us with no program, no structure and no offer — just deep knowledge of sleep. We launched her program at ₹5,000 and raised it to ₹35,000 and beyond, and people still said yes. We didn't add a single extra module. We changed the clarity.

In this guide

  • The Who / Problem / Result worksheet
  • A one-line offer formula
  • The 4-level price ladder
  • A safe way to test a higher price

Why your price is stuck

Price isn't decided by how much you know. It's decided by how clearly people can see the result they'll get — and whether it's for someone like them. Generic offers get compared on price. Specific offers get chosen.

Step 1 — The positioning worksheet

Answer these four questions. This is the P + M + TG + R framework I use with every client:

TARGET GROUP: Exactly who is this for? (age, life stage, situation — be narrow) PROBLEM: What specific problem keeps them up at night? METHOD: What's your way of solving it — and why are you credible? RESULT: What result can they picture — ideally with a number or a timeframe?

The narrower the target group, the easier the marketing. "Everyone who wants better sleep" is hard to sell to. A specific group with a specific sleep problem knows instantly that you're talking to them.

Step 2 — Your one-line offer

I help [target group] [achieve result] [in timeframe] through [method] — without [the thing they hate].

Say it out loud. If a stranger can repeat it back after hearing it once, it's clear enough.

Step 3 — Find your place on the price ladder

From the 4 Level Scale Model™:

  • Validate — ₹99–₹999, one-to-many quick win (workshop, challenge)
  • Activate — ₹999–₹9,999, group transformation (30-day program, bootcamp)
  • Accelerate — ₹10,000–₹50,000, hybrid implementation (cohort, mentorship)
  • Ascend — ₹50,000+, high-touch personalisation (private coaching, mastermind)

To move up a level, change more than the price. Add implementation support, personal feedback, a smaller group or a stronger guarantee of effort — so the value genuinely matches.

Step 4 — Test the new price safely

  • Keep existing clients on their current price — raise it only for new ones
  • Present the new price to the next 10 people with your sharper one-line offer
  • Track how many say yes. If conversions hold or drop only slightly, the higher price earns more per hour
  • Don't discount to close. Add a bonus instead — discounts train people to wait
Do this today: fill in the four lines of the worksheet and write your one-line offer. Post it in the comments of the Reel — I'll reply to as many as I can.

Questions

Will I lose clients if I raise my price?

You may lose some price-sensitive buyers, but with sharper positioning and more value, many experts earn more from fewer, better-fit clients. Test with new clients first.

How much should I raise my price?

Move to the next level of the 4 Level Scale Model™ only when the value and delivery change too. Then test the new price with the next 10 prospects.

What if my niche gets too small?

A narrow niche makes marketing easier, and you can widen it later. Being chosen by a specific group beats being ignored by everyone.
